Awards and streaks
Awards mark study habit, not performance. None of them depends on your band, and there are no points and no XP — this product does not show numbers it cannot defend from a record.
What a study day is
A study day is a calendar day, in your timezone, on which you completed an attempt or finished a lesson.
That is the whole unit, and three things follow from it:
- Your timezone, not a server's. This is what setting up captures it for.
- An attempt and a lesson on the same afternoon are one study day. The unit is the day, not the amount.
- An essay counts when marking finishes, not when you submit it. Submitting at 11:50pm and marking landing at 12:01am makes it the next day's study day.
The eight awards

Streaks are kept once earned
The streak awards read your longest streak ever, not your current one.
Missing a day ends a run. It never takes back an award you have already got.
Why it works that way
People sit this exam on a date they cannot move. A system that confiscates progress for a missed day punishes exactly the weeks — illness, work, a family emergency — when someone most needs a reason to come back. So a run that ended is still a run that happened.
The current streak in the header is display only. No award depends on it, and a run that ended yesterday still shows, because at nine in the morning today's studying has not happened yet.
Where you see them
On Today, as a strip when you earn something new. It is a quiet status message rather than a popup — an award is worth mentioning, not worth interrupting someone for. Got it dismisses everything unseen at once.
On Progress, as the award wall: all eight, earned ones dated, unearned ones dimmed but with their rule showing. A wall of mysteries motivates nobody.
